Note

Note (General)

Evaluation requirements: dual-channel safety input, suitable for p-type sensors with NO function. The safety-monitoring module must tolerate internal functional tests of the sensors with cyclic switch-off of the sensor outputs for max. 0.5 ms. Short-circuit recognition by the evaluation is not necessary.

Coding of safety sensor and actuator: To activate the safety function (coding) of the CSP 34 for the first time, the associated actuator must be brought into the detection area of the switched on safety sensor. The automatic learn process of the actuator code is signalled on the safety sensor by the lighting up of the red LED and flashing of the yellow LED at the same time. After 10 seconds the cycling flashes indicate that the supply voltage of the safety sensor should be switched off for a few seconds so the code can be saved.
After the operating voltage is switched back on, the actuator must be detected once more in order to activate the taught actuator code. The assignment of safety sensor and actuator is permanently stored. The safety sensor can therefore not be activated by any other coding.
In order to protect the coding, the ordering details of the actuator are hidden by the mounting bracket.
