La chute de tension d'une longue chaîne de capteurs doit être prise en compte lors de l'étude de la pose des câbles. La valeur exacte de la tension de service, la section et la longueur du câble, la température, le nombre de capteurs raccordés ainsi que le courant d'entrée du module de sécurité sont autant de facteurs à considérer.
