Serieschakeling van sensoren: 16 zelfbewakende veiligheidssensoren kunnen in serie geschakeld worden. De tweekanalige uitgang van een sensor wordt hierbij op de ingang van de volgende sensor geschakeld/aangesloten. Categorie 4 volgens EN ISO 13849-1 wordt hierdoor niet gewijzigd. Er moet rekening gehouden worden met de spanningsvermindering van een lange sensorketting tijdens het plannen van het leggen van de kabels. De werkspanning, de kabeldoorsnede en -lengte, de temperatuur, het aantal aangesloten sensoren en de ingangsstroom van de veiligheidsmodule zijn factoren, waarmee rekening gehouden moet worden. |
