Magnetic/solenoid switches are frequently used for positioning and control in electric monorail conveyor and lift technology. The contactless SSB sensor box detects the field of suitable actuator magnets on for independent tracks and, on pass-by, switches the status of the output signal according to the polarity and direction of travel. This level change, which occurs even in the event of rapid pass-by, is maintained until the next magnetic activation in zero-voltage-safe state. If a control system is connected, it uses the signals to determine the position and route section of the sensor box and regulates factors such as the speed or stopping position of the drive motor. The narrow track distance of 30 mm means that the box is particularly suitable for applications on electric monorail conveyors and lifts.
