Safety mats

Safety mats are frequently used to secure danger zones, for example on punching machines, woodworking or tube bending machines. Compared to optoelectronic protective devices, they have the advantage of being able to monitor entire work areas. Schmersal offers safety mats in the SMS 4 and SMS 5 series.
