Safety relay modules in various designs

In the field of safe signal processing, the Schmersal Group offers its customers a range of type-approved solutions with a variety of visualisation and diagnostic options. A distinction is made between universally applicable safety relay modules, which are used, for example, for the instantaneous disconnection of the energy supply to the hazardous movement (Stop 0 category according to EN 60204-1), and special safety modules, e.g. with double acknowledgement or differentiated switch-off behaviour. Safety door monitors: SRB-EXi safety relay module

The explosion-proof SRB-EXi version of the Schmersal safety relay modules has IECEx and INMETRO approval. They are suitable for both the safe signal evaluation of emergency stop devices and safety door monitoring.

Stop 0 and Stop 0/1

The safety relay modules Stop 0 and Stop 0/1 are used for signal processing of interlocking devices, E-Stop command devices, as well as safety magnetic switches and non-potential-free signals, such as those from AOPDs. They are suitable for applications up to PL e/category 4 in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 in accordance with IEC 61508

SRB 100DR for double acknowledgement

These safety relay modules with double acknowledgement ensure that the operator is not in the danger area when the machine control system is reactivated. To do this, a reset button inside the system is pressed first, followed by another outside the accessible system area. The SRB 100DR series for double acknowledgement is suitable for applications up to PL e/Category 4 according to EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 according to IEC 61508.
