HINGE SAFETY SWITCH FOR HINGED GUARDS

In addition to conventional safety switches with separate actuators, safety sensors with different operating principles and position switches with a safety function, designers can also opt for hinge safety switches when it comes to monitoring the position of hinged guards. HINGED SAFETY SWITCHES: DESIGN AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE

An integrated cam disc in the safety switches ensures that the safety function is triggered at a certain angle. This ensures that the requirement for a positive linkage between the cam and the actuator is satisfied in accordance with EN ISO 14119. As the safety switch also acts as a hinge, the designer can dispense with a structural element, depending on the design. This ensures a high degree of protection against manipulation, as the safety function is hidden in the hinge cover. A hinge safety switch enables a compact design and convenient access to the machine's working area. No switching element is required on the opening side of the safety door.

SERIES T.C., TV.S AND TESK/TESZ
